Wilson Botanical Garden Tour

Staring at 6:30 am with an hour boat ride across the largest mangrove forest in central America we will get to the small town of Sierpe where our minibus is expecting our group to take us for 1.45 minutes ride through the Coto Brus Valley  up to highlands of San Vito where the Wilson Botanical Garden is located, with more than a thousand species of plants on the grounds, the gardens serve several purposes.

The Wilson Botanical Garden are used as a training ground for scientists, research programs on tropical botany, including conservation, horticulture, sustainable development, agro-ecology, and reforestation studies are carried out, the gardens preserve endangered species, and it’s consider as one best places to visit for bird watchers in Costa Rica.

Around 2:30 pm, after few hours of learning about rich wildlife and flora and delicious lunch, we will get back to our minibus to start our journey back to the low lands of drake bay arriving in your hotel 5:45 pm, right before sunset!!
